Hair Care Routine

Hey girls! (and maybe a few guys)

As some of you may know already, I recently got a hair cut and chopped off a good length from my almost-butt length hair to slightly-past shoulder length. And now, I'm determined to keep my hair healthy and nourished!

Besides the obvious like avoiding heat styling tools, here is my improved hair care routine (and some tips) I swear by to make sure I never go back to my fried, brittle hair.

My Hair Routine:

1.) Sulfate-free, silicon-free shampoo.  I avoid shampoos with harsh chemicals as it can strip the natural oils from my scalp, causing oilier scalp. Then, I follow up with a conditioner of the same brand as the shampoo.

2.) It's a 10 leave-in I spritz this on the ends of my hair while it is still damp.
It's best used to detangle, nourish, and protect hair.

3.) L'Oreal EverSleek Leave-In Creme
I only use this for days when I want to wear my hair straight.  I take about half a pump of this and rub this to the surface of my hair avoiding my roots.
It's best used to tame frizzy hair

4.) Moroccanoil Oh my goodness guys, this stuff is a life saver. My hair stylist gave me a sample to take home, but I definitely want to purchase the full-size because it does wonders to my hair! I take about a drop of this stuff and rub it into my hands for even distribution.
It's best used to give hair shine and moisture.

That's about it for my night hair care routine!

Make sure to never sleep with wet hair and cut back on hair dyes!  (Don't get me wrong, there are way more causes of hair damage, but these two are probably my main causes)

Hope this was helpful to some of you & Happy Fourth of July! (:

Love your locks,
Wakana
