Greetings!

Welcome to Crush Magazine's official blog. If you're reading this, you're most likely from Lynbrook High School of San Jose. You're also more likely to be wondering just what the heck this magazine is all about.

It all began with three high school students' discontent with having only one fashion club at their high school. These high school-ers are named Yaoyao Pei, Rachel Tu, and Sarah Park, promptly. Fashion clubs, you say, are all the same. Well, we say it certainly is not! There are many, many interests in fashion- photography, design, styling, modelling, business, even trend forecasting. With so many possibilities, why then, is only one of these interests encompassed at Lynbrook High? One rant led to another, until we reached an idea: why don't we just start our own club to incorporate all of these interests?!

And so, we are here, now. A fashion magazine not only incorporates many aspects of the fashion industry, it also explores other subjects like writing and business management. Not only do we have fulfillment, we can give opportunities to other high school-er's like us who want to shine through their interest in fashion or publications. You may think starting a magazine by a bunch of inexperienced freshman seems like a joke, but we are dead serious. We want this to happen! But first, we need to get people's recognition of our idea. That is why we have this blog to inform and excite our future readers.

This blog will be posting many tidbits of what you will get to see in our magazine when it becomes official. Both posts about fashion, beauty, and personal style will be things you will find here. Sorry boys. Although we love you, this magazine will be primarily of "girl stuff." Feel free to still read though! Our goal of this magazine is to be able to showcase our own skills while entertaining our fellow students as well. We want to bring style from the outside world into Lynbrook.

If you are interested in joining the team (we have already gathered a few other people before we start the club), contact us! And if you like what you see here, please support us by reading our blog posts and spreading the word of our upcoming magazine.

Thanks & much love,
The editors of Crush (Yaoyao, Rachel and Sarah)
